About
Currently in its forty-first year of existence, la Chambre de commerce has come a long way since its basement on Avenue Sainte-Croix. Created in 1981 by notary Claude Gratton, at this time president of the Saint-Laurent Businessmen’s Association, la Chambre de commerce is today a leading player in the region’s economic development.
In 2012, the organization took a new turn: it added Mont-Royal to its territory and officially became la Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Saint-Laurent – Mont-Royal.
