Biography
As Senior Business Opportunities Manager at CAE, I lead strategic initiatives within the Defence and Security sector. I have over 15 years of experience in the defence industry in Canada and internationally, particularly in business development, negotiation, contract management, and procurement.
My career has also included stints at Pratt & Whitney Canada and CAE Elektronik GmbH in Germany. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work closely with the Canadian Department of National Defence, foreign governments, international organizations such as NATO, and several major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). My various roles have given me the opportunity to conduct complex negotiations, manage high-level relationships, and operate in highly regulated environments.
Early in my career, I also gained extensive experience in procurement, subcontract management, and purchasing strategy, which allows me to understand the realities of both suppliers and prime contractors. At CAE, I help define capture strategies and strengthen collaboration with SMEs to promote their integration into defense supply chains.
